Whom God Set Forth
“Whom God put forward as an expiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.” Romans 3:25
“…in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.” This alone should bring us to our knees in praise and thanksgiving for our living God.
God sent Jesus as the atoning sacrifice for our sins, in whom we have redemption!
Our faith is drenched in his blood shed: the holy, sacrificial, healing blood of Jesus, that forgives our sins, that is present today, just as it was when Jesus was violently nailed to the cross.
Father, your patience, your love for your children, is ever at the forefront of our thoughts, as we ask forgiveness for our sins, as we accept your Son’s sacrifice for our failings, as we fully embrace you, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We humbly thank you and praise your name.
All is well. Alleluia!
