We Will Suffer
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” 2 Timothy 3:12
Loving Christ, serving Christ, running toward Christ means we are not the servants of this world; we serve only one: Christ Jesus.
Worldly forces will serve to crush you when you oppose evil.
Yet, Christ.
We have our strength, our boldness, our love of the holy gospel – we have the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus – as our gift against eternal damnation.
When you suffer, give the glory to God.
When you suffer, know it is but a moment and your Father is with you.
When you suffer, recall the crucified Christ, and be emboldened in the resurrection and promise of eternal life.
The tomb is empty!
He is Risen!
