Know That It Has Hated Me Before It Hated You

“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.” John 15:18

We are in kingly company if the world hates us based on our love of Christ.

We are in the world, but not of this world, so the world cannot love that which it doesn’t possess.

Jesus has taken us as his own. Let us rejoice!

Just as Christ was persecuted, those who love him will be persecuted (John 15:20).

Hate comes, yet we resist evil for Christ’s sake.

Bear witness to the sacrificial love of Jesus in all ways, for all days.
