I Lift Up My Soul

I lift up my soul.

“Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.”  Psalms 25:1

No matter where you find yourself today, no matter how bleak things may look, no matter the questions, the doubt, the abject fear you face: lift up your soul to God.

Father, in our purest nature, in our sinful state, in joy unspoken for our redemption, we lift up our soul to thee.

There is no other way than yours.

There is no other goodness than yours.

There is no other love than yours.

Close your eyes. Breathe in the name of Jesus. Exhale the world’s burden and grief.

Lift up your soul and let God handle the heavy lifting.
