Behold, The LORD’S Hand Is Not Shortened

“Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:” Isaiah 59:1

It is not God who cannot save, it is not God who cannot hear; it is our refusal to denounce sin, our refusal to accept Christ’s death and resurrection for the forgiveness of sin, that separates humankind from God.

Behold the way of peace, of justice, of forgiveness: Jesus.

Behold the straightened path, the sacrificial Lamb that saves: Jesus.

Behold God’s outstretched hand, his hearing of your call: Jesus.

Behold the Way, the Light of the World: Jesus.
