You Anoint My Head With Oil, My Cup Overflows

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows.” Psalms 23:5

Trouble comes, yet God is with us, now unto eternity. We are his anointed ones, his sacred children, heirs to the kingdom.

His love for us, especially in the presence of our enemies, is bold and fierce.

If we find ourselves walking through the shadow of death, let us fear no evil, for our mighty God, the Alpha and the Omega of all creation, is with us and will comfort us.

Father, our cup runs over with your overflowing mercy.
