My Soul Thirsts For God, For The Living God

“As a deer longs for flowing streams, so longs my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.” Psalms 42:1-2

Our thirst for the living God is palatable, unquenchable. Forever we long for your life-affirming waters, O LORD.

Father, we seek you in all: in our heights of joy, in our unbearable sorrow, in our singing your praises, in our human confusion, and in our knowing that you are with us, within us.

Our souls longs for you, O God.

The living God calls. Come all who are weary and he will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).

Alleluia! All is well.
