If The World Hate You, Ye Know That It Hated Me Before It Hated You

“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.” John 15:18

Jesus has chosen us out of the world, and because we follow where he leads, because we are no longer of this world, we are hated.

We have not chosen him; he has chosen us, ordained us, “…that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” (John 15:16)

We tuck this knowing into our hearts, so that as the world attempts to crush our spirit, we joy in Christ Jesus and his saving grace.
