I Command You: Be Firm And Steadfast!

“I command you: be firm and steadfast! Do not fear or be dismayed, for the Lord, your God, is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

God is with us. He is our strength when we are weak. Our joy in sorrow. Our balm in grief. Our wisdom in confusion. Our grace and mercy in sin. Our love in rejection.

We have understandable and actionable instruction: Do not be afraid. Do not be dismayed. Be strong. Be of good courage.

God Almighty, the creator of all, the great I Am, is with us wherever we go. Dwell upon that all the days of your life, remembering that you are his beloved.
