Humble Yourselves Therefore Under The Mighty Hand Of God

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7

Even, especially, when days are the darkest, when we have lost all hope, when the way seems blocked and cursed, all good things are in God’s good time. Lord, may our spirits be humble of heart under your mighty hand, as we wait on you.

Let us come before God’s throne and lay down our cares before him. He delights in our trust, in our faith that his word is true and his love everlasting.

Father, we rest in your abounding grace and mercy for the day, even, especially, when the days are the darkest.

All is well. Alleluia.
