For The Word Of God Is Living And Active

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

The word of God is a power not to be underestimated.

His word can uplift and fill your body to the very marrow.

It can pierce your spirit. It can understand your intentions. It can bring eternal life where only darkness seems possible.

His word can strip you bare, cutting away falsehoods you believed to be truth.

His word saves through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

His word is truth, comfort, dignity, hope, grace, peace, and mercy.

His word is magnified by his goodness.

May God’s word pierce you through, may it bring you to your knees in breathless rejoicing, may it strengthen you in all ways, for all days, now and forevermore. Amen.
