Fear Not, Abram: I Am Your Shield

After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, “Fear not, Abram: I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.” Genesis 15:1

Just as with Abram, God is our shield from the arrows of harm; fear not! Our holy Father protects, upholds, and guides his children.

And, just as in the day of Abram, our great reward, in this life and the next, is our God, who transcends the collective goodness in all creation by his very presence.

He has overcome the darkness with The Light: Jesus!

Father, we rejoice in you!

Jesus, The Light of the world, we praise you!

Holy Spirit, we thank you for your healing presence and merciful grace!

Fear not. Hallelujah! Amen.
