Do Not Be Slow To Give Him Thanks

Then the angel called the two of them privately and said to them,”Praise God and give thanks to him in the presense of all the living for what he has done for you. It is good to praise God and exalt his name, worthily declaring the works of God, and with fitting honor to acknowledge him. Do not be slow to give him thanks.” Tobit 12:6

Raphael, an angel sent by God, takes no credit for himself in the miracle of Tobit’s restored eyesight. All glory and thanks is given to God, with the final instruction of not delaying our thanks for all he has done. Glory, LORD!

Raphael was sent to Tobias with the instructions to restore his father’s eyesight, and in his faithfulness it was done.

Father, we thank you for all that you have done and all that you will still do for us.

All is well through you, O LORD! Amen.
