By Grace You Are Saved

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” Ephesians 2:8

God gave his only Son that we might be saved from the wages of our sin.

It is by grace, through our faith in Jesus, that we have eternal life.

Do not be deceived, works and goodness cannot save us. Jesus alone is the way, the truth, and the light.

Works come as a natural extension of our love of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, but by the gift of God we shall inherit eternity.

We are sinners; we sin daily. Yet, God still loves us completely and deeply and offers us his Son.

May we accept the living word of God, may we embrace his gift of grace, this day and all that follow.

All is well. Alleluia!
