Behold, I Have Told You Before

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Behold, I have told you before.

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:23-27

We wait for Jesus to arrive in such a way as to not be deceived by false prophets. His coming will be as the lightning from the east and will be seen even to the west.

Evil roams mightily in the world, consuming souls upon lies. Time is limited before the coming of the Son of man.

“Behold, I have told you before.” Remember these words. Tuck them into your heart. Let no evil be welcomed into your life because you are weary, or anxious, or fearful. None of this is from God, yet a toehold for the one who lurks.

Have courage, dear friends. Fear not. Our Lord Jesus Christ is coming, eternal life is coming, and we await while going about the business of our Father. Amen.
