And The Spirit Returns To God Who Gave It

“And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.” Ecclesiastes 12:7

We are of the dust and will returns to dust again (Ecclesiastes 3:20), which is a comforting truth, for our spirit returns home.

Our soul journeys through this life in a vessel that returns to the earth as dust; our spirit returns to the One who gave it: God.

Everything is temporary, except eternal damnation and eternal life.

God sets before us the way of death, and the way, and the truth, of everlasting life: Christ Jesus.

His love is everlasting and full of grace and mercy.

Blessed be your spirit upon its return to God!

All is well. Alleluia!
