In The Days When Christ Was In The Flesh

In the days when Christ was in the flesh, he offered prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears to the one who was able to save him from death,
and he was heard because of his reverence. Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered; and when he was made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. Hebrews 5:7-9

Jesus was heard, as are we when we offer prayers and supplications to our Father who can save us from everlasting death.

What we experience in this world is not greater than being delivered from sin, from death. Lord, teach us to walk obediently, so that we too may join Jesus in eternity.

Lord, lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of your mercy. Amen.
