My Desire Is To Depart And Be With Christ
“If it is to be life in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better. But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account. Convinced of this, I know I shall remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith,” Philippians 1:22-25
We yearn for life everlasting, especially when we understand evil is ever at the door. Yet, we continue on in the will of God, until that moment, written in the book, we return to the safety, comfort, and joy of home.
Our fruit of labor is not of this world, but the next. What a joy of faith it is! Amen.
All is well. Alleluia!
