For God Hath Not Given Us The Spirit Of Fear
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
“Has not given us…” Fear comes from outside of us and we choose to hold or to rebuke. Fear is not of God. Fear is of evil.
Rebuke it in every way, in the name of Jesus, for evil cannot stand in the presence of our Lord.
Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!
As we learn and practice to eradicate the taproot of fear, we grow stronger in the Lord; follow his directive of rebuking fear and believing in him (Mark 5:36).
God himself has given us the spirit of power, of love, and of a sound mind.
We have the spirit of power: wield it wisely and with love.
We have the spirit of love: use it unsparingly, quenching hate.
We have the power of a sound mind: engage it often, for your benefit and for those without.
You are the holy, anointed, Spirit-filled children of God. Claim his power, love and soundness.
All is well. Alleluia!
