Why Does Your Teacher Eat With Tax Collectors And Sinners?

“And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, ‘Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?’

But when he heard heard it, he said, ‘They who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.” Matthew 9:11-12

Jesus, our Great Physician, heal us of our easy inclination to sin, heal us of our sickness; make us whole, O Lord!

Jesus calls us to repentance. May we ever hear him, just as his ears are open to our cries.
