Whosoever Therefore Shall Confess Me Before Men
“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 10:32
Jesus is clear: if we claim the word of Jesus as truth, if we believe that he was the Son of the living God, if we profess our faith in him, he will also claim us as his own before our Father.
Yet, the starkness of denying his word, the pain of refusing the Living Water that is Jesus, the rebuffing of his merciful call, is eternal suffering.
May we live our lives as an ongoing confession of the love of the Lord Jesus Christ for all mankind.
All is well. Alleluia!
