Who His Own Self Bare Our Sins In His Own Body On The Tree
“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24
Jesus carried our sins, in his battered earthly body, so that we might live.
We are healed by his stipes; we are forever covered in the precious blood of Christ.
May the joy, the excruciating understanding of his love for us, be revealed in the fullness of his mercy.
May we in turn carry Jesus through our life, offering thanksgiving and praise, as he continues to uplift and love us into eternity.
All is well. Alleluia!
