Therefore Be Ye Also Ready

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Matthew 24:44

Jesus has told us the thief is here, ready to steal, plunder, and destroy. He will have nothing less than the damnation of our soul. As believers, we prepare ourselves for evil to actively seek us, for all we have, for all we do, in Christ.

We are also ready, watching, for the return of the Son of man, our blessed Savior. We know that where there are two, one shall be taken and the other remain.

Father, we pray faith for the multitude as our hearts, minds, and souls, rebuke evil in our time as we watch for the return of Christ. You have told us that he will come unexpectedly. Our faithfulness and joy remain ever expectant!

Lord Jesus, we run on in our Father’s will as we wait on you!
