The Grass Withereth, The Flower Fadeth, But The Word Of Our God Shall Stand Forever

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.” Isaiah 40:8

This world, our lives, are but an exhalation of God, swiftly moving towards eternity.

Our portion is great joy and deep sorrow within our earthly course, yet we can rest in God’s word, knowing it is filled with his truth and wisdom for the way, enduring evermore. The LORD is good to them that wait for him.

The grass shall wither and the flower shall fade, but the holy word of God stands as our lamppost on our journey towards home.
