The Days Were Accomplished

^“And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.” Luke 2:6-7

The days were accomplished.

Mary’s pregnancy was ending and the life, on earth, of our living Savior was beginning.

God blesses us, uses us, where we are. Many times it is where we least expect: on the craggy hilltop, in the lowest valley, in a lonesome palace, laid in a blessed manger. His grace, his mercy, his glory is with us, always.

May we thank God for wherever we find ourselves, knowing he is with us always, that his indwelling Spirit will never leave us.

May our days be accomplished with his will.
