Sorrow Is Better Than Laughter

“Sorrow is better than laughter, because when the face is sad the heart grows wiser.” Ecclesiastes 7:3

The wise are brought to thought of God in sorrow. By sadness experienced, we are elevated in spirit to care for one another and seek our Father’s guidance and understanding.

By sadness we are deepened in faith.

May our darkest sorrows fill us with God’s light, grace and mercy.
