Pray For Those Who Abuse You

“Bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.” Luke 6:28

We are commanded to love our enemies and to do good to those that hate us. We are called to overcome our emotions of revenge and hate.

Prayer is our most holy offering, our most powerful force of God’s grace and mercy, that we have for one another.

May we offer blessings for those who work against us, that mock us, that work to tear us down. God knows our need and in his understanding of our nature of vengeance, asks us to offer peace instead.

The Lord shall be a light. Let us be one as well.
