Power Belongs To God

Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work. Psalms 62: 10-12

The wealth of this world is but ashes, fleeting and easily corrupted; the power of true wealth, of life everlasting, belongs to God.

Father, we pray your glory upon our lives. We thank you for the riches of this world you have granted, yet our hearts, our lives, remain focused on you.

May your grace and mercy be ever upon us!
