O LORD, Let The Light Of Your Countenance Shine Upon Us

“Many say, ‘Oh, that we may see better times!’ O LORD, let the light of your countenance shine upon us!” Psalms 4:7

Any goodness we have, any goodness to come, is by God’s hand.

Father, we pray we are worthy of your favor as we live in your word.

“The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:” Numbers 6:25

Indeed, may God ever shine his face upon us and be gracious to us.

May we share God’s blessed light of the world this day and all that follow.
