But The Lord Sent A Large Fish; That Swallowed Jonah

“But the Lord sent a large fish; that swallowed Jonah; and he remained in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.” Jonah 2:1

God is in every moment. God prepared the great fish for his goodness and for Jonah’s goodness, even though Jonah had denied God.

Jonah cried from deep within the belly of hell; he cried out to God, who heard his voice.

For three days and three nights Jonah was deep within the great fish, praying.

Until, at last the fish gave up Jonah to dry land. He then went about the work of God, whom he had denied.

If God can prepare a great fish for his works, then how much more does he prepare us, even when we turn from him?

God is the God of compassion. Repent and He will cast off our sins into the depths of the sea.
