Not To Do My Will, But The Will Of Him That Sent Me
“For I have come down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me, and this is the will who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up at the last day.” John 6:38-39
Our Father’s will is that everyone who sees Jesus or believes on him shall have everlasting life. (John 6:40)
Jesus gained everything by his sacrificial death, as did we.
He is the very bread from heaven that feeds our soul.
Father, we pray your will is our will, that we listen for where you lead, as we follow the example set forth by our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
All is well. Alleluia!
