Not To Do My Own Will, But The Will Of Him Who Sent Me
“For I come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.” John 6:38
Our Father’s will is that everyone who sees Jesus or believes on him shall have everlasting life. (John 6:40)
Jesus gained everything by his sacrificial death, as did we.
He is the very bread from heaven that feeds our soul.
Father, we pray your will is our will, that we listen for where you lead, as we follow the example set forth by our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
All is well. Alleluia!
