“No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friend.” John 15:13

Jesus calls us friends, if we do as he commands: “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.” John 15:12

We are no longer servants, but friends of our Savior.

Some days this is beyond our understanding that our friend gave his very life, poured his blood upon the souls of the damned, washing us clean, so that we could be blessed with eternal life with him.
