“Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.“ Matthew 22: 36–38

Do not hold back your spirit in any way: love God with your fullness of heart, soul, and mind.

Within that breadth of love, every good thing follows.

It is indeed the first and great commandment upon which our entire foundation of grace and mercy is secured.
