Let Not The Wise Man Glory In His Wisdom

“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:” Jeremiah 9:23

Man’s fleeting glory of his wisdom, might, and riches are of this world. Let us seek God’s eternal kingdom; let us glory in God, alone.

Father, reveal that which you would have us know. Open our eyes to your lovingkindness, righteous judgment, and mercy. Open our ears to your word. Open our spirits to the indwelling guidance of your Holy Ghost. Open our hearts to the sacrificial forgiveness of the blood of Jesus.

Let us glory in your wisdom, your might, and the riches of your love, as we fulfill your will for our temporal lives.
