Let Every Man Be Swift To Hear, Slow To Speak, Slow To Wrath
“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:” James 1:19
When we lash out in anger, it is not the righteousness of God. We must put aside our temporal desire of instant gratification by way of harshness, whether justified or not, and be doers of God’s word, not simply hearers of God’s word. (James 1:22)
My beloved brothers and sisters, let us be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath, that we may fulfill the will of God.
All is well. Alleluia!
