Jesus Wept
“Jesus wept.” John 11:35
Our Savior, both man and God, who came to save us from our sin, to cover our inequity with his sacrificial blood, wept at the death of Lazarus, as we weep upon the death of those we love.
Yet, death has no hold on us. With Jesus we rise again to the eternal through our faith.
Call on Jesus for your every need. The Lamb of God wept for a friend. He understands and waits upon us.
Father, you loved us from eternal damnation to eternal life through your Son, Jesus. A gift so powerful we grasp but a wisp of your love.
We thank you for those for whom we weep. We thank you for the reminder that Jesus intimately knows our mortal heart, through his time in the flesh.
All is well. Alleluia!
