In Whom We Have Redemption Through His Blood

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” Colossians 1:14

God has delivered us from sin, from eternal darkness, through the power and blood of his Son, Christ Jesus.

When Jesus took up his cross, our future, God’s kingdom, awaited us.

When Jesus commended his spirit to the hands of his Father, gave up the ghost, our sin was forevermore forgiven, and our room was readied.

We are not worthy, yet we have the gift of redemption; we have forgiveness.

Surrender.

Surrender your pain. Surrender your fear. Surrender your sin.

Father, it is too mighty a truth to fully comprehend: we are forgiven every sin; we are made new through Christ, our LORD!

Forgive us our trespasses, as we await glory.

We praise your holy name, O Lord!
