In Every Thing Give Thanks: For This Is The Will Of God

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

It is not until we are removed from any situation that grieves us that we can clearly see the hand of God moving. God is here, never forsaking us, always working for our good (Romans 8:28).

When our spirits are blinded in grief, give thanks.

When we see only darkness and evil, give thanks.

When we collapse to our knees, wailing in pain unimaginable, give thanks.

The great deceiver moves to break us, to condemn us to the wretchedness of hell, yet our God, the very mover of mountains, is for us. Give thanks.

Our understanding is limited, but God’s word is truth. So, let us pray without ceasing. Rejoice evermore!

In every thing give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus.
