For You Repay A Man According To His Work

Put no confidence in extortion, set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them. Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this; that power belongs to God; and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you repay a man according to his work. Psalms 62: 10-12

The wealth of the world is but ashes, fleeting and easily corrupted; the power of true wealth, the gold standard of life everlasting, belongs to God.

Father, we pray your glory upon our lives. We thank you for the riches of this world you have granted, yet our hearts, our lives, remain focused on you.

May your grace and mercy be ever upon us!
