I Have Fought The Good Fight, I Have Finished My Course

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” 2 Timothy 4:7

My beloved grandmother’s constant wisdom for me when I was overwhelmed: Keep the faith. It was always a simple, yet powerful reminder that we must never hand over our hope in Jesus to despair or evil.

When our fight here is done, when we have finished God’s will for our lives, may we be able to say the same: I have kept the faith.

God is at work, seen and unseen. His mercy is forevermore. His grace strengthens; his love abounds. He knows you by name.

Run on until the time that your race is done.

Fight the good fight.

Keep the faith.
