I Have Come Not To Abolish But To Fulfill

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets.
I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away,
not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law, until all is accomplished.
Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments
and teaches others to do so will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven.
But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments
will be called greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:17-19

Upon the sacrifice that Jesus made for all mankind, the old sacrificial laws were fulfilled through him.

Glory be to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost! We ask for your wisdom, your understanding, and your loving strength to obey and teach the holy commandments written by your very finger for your beloved.

Peace be upon you this day, as you go forth in the encompassing gracious love of our Savior.
