I Do Set My Bow In The Cloud
“I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.” Genesis 9:13
After the great flood, God gave a token of his everlasting covenant between him, man, and every living creature of all flesh, that there would never again be a flood to destroy all living things upon the earth.
As in the days of Noah, we can look to the skies and see the promise that is still visible to all who seek.
Many who ask for a sign of God, a sign that was visible to our ancestors, only have to look to the clouds, for not only is God’s word truth, he gave perpetual generations the beauty of a rainbow to behold. The beauty speaks his word silently, implies his beckoning love, from creation to creation. It shall not be corrupted.
Father, you point us to your loving kingdom and we behold your glory, your promise, in the bow set in the clouds.
All is well. Alleluia!
