Glorifying and Praising God
“And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.” Luke 2:20
The shepherds had heard the angel’s proclamation and journeyed to the manger, where they saw their Savior, just as it had been foretold to them.
Their eyes beheld Christ; their ears heard God’s truth. And they believed, glorifying and praising God.
Father, give us ears to hear and eyes to see Christ today. May we surrender in joy to your good and gracious will when you call.
Jesus Christ is God’s gift of a love so deep and wide that we cannot fully comprehend it, yet the great I Am was born in a lowly manger, died on a tree, and was miraculously resurrected, offering payment-in-full for our sins and life eternal.
May the joy of Christ’s birth live on through us daily.
All is well. Alleluia!
