For They Knew That He Was Christ

“And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.” Luke 4:41

When Jesus laid hands on the sick and healed them, the demons came out crying, knowing he was the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

They knew his power and understood his glory and kingship was eternal.

Let us pray without ceasing that all who know who Christ is yet refuse him, recognize, as did the devils, that he is the way of truth and come fully into the heirship of eternal life.

Father, may it be so.
