Do Not Fail Those Who Weep
“Stretch forth your hand to the poor, so that your blessing may be complete. Give graciously to all the living, and withhold not kindness from the dead. Do not fail those who weep, but mourn with those who mourn. Do not shrink from visiting a sick man, because for such deeds you will be loved. In all you do, remember the end of your life, and then you will never sin.” Sirach 7:32-36
My brothers and sisters, our duty, after submitting to Christ, is to one another.
Do what is hard. Do what is needed. Do what you would want done for you in your time of need.
May our blessing be complete, as we remember that we are heirs to the Kingdom, that our eternal home awaits, and act accordingly in the love, mercy and grace of our most loving King, Jesus Christ.
All is well. Alleluia!
