Christ Jesus has made us free.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:1
Jesus condemned sin in the flesh.
Jesus bore mankind’s sin on the tree. He freely walked towards his earthy death, through his bodily scourging, for us.
He died, nailed to the cross, and rose on the third day victorious over sin.
The righteousness of the law, walking after the Spirit, not after the flesh, the physical, or the evil of this world, is fulfilled in each of us.
You no longer retain your burden of the flesh.
Christ Jesus has made us free.
We are free from the bondage, the eternal death, of sin, but “have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba Father.” Romans 8:15
Go forth this day forgiving one another, forgiving yourself, as we are no longer condemned through the blood of Jesus.
We are glorified together with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
All is well. Alleluia!
