By This You Know The Spirit Of God

“By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit which does not confess Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and it is in the world already.” 1 John 4:2-3

Pray for spiritual discernment in a world that is filled with false prophets praying for our demise.

The honey-soaked whispers of evil fill our days, looking for a path that could leads us to hell, so let us cloak ourselves in the holy teaching that Christ gave us.

Test each spirit, as is right and just. If the spirit talks in circles of faith and beauty and trust, yet still does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, this spirit is false.

Rebuke teachings, leanings, seemingly grace-filled goodness, if it refuses to confess the Way, The Truth and The Light of our Savior, for this is the spirit of the antichrist.

Have no fear, you are the beloved of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost! He is our strength, our glory, our hope.
