Being Born Again, Not Of Corruptible Seed, But Of Incorruptible
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1 Peter 1:23
As Nicodemus asked Jesus: “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?”
To which Jesus answered: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
To be born again is repenting of your sins and placing your trust in Jesus, being baptized by water and receiving the Spirit.
Being born again is chasing after the Spirit and not man.
Being born again is hearing the Gospel and being transformed from eyes and heart on this world, to eyes and heart for the eternal world.
Being born again is slipping into the heart of Jesus and accepting his life, death, and resurrection as payment-in-full for the debt of our sin.
Being born again is incorruptible, by the word of God.
What an all-encompassing, soul-filling, transformative joy!
Every choice we make in this life has consequence. I pray for you to be born again. Today – in this very moment.
Man’s way is not the way; Jesus alone is The Way.
Eternal life awaits!
God’s blessing of eyes to see and ears to hear be yours this day and all days that follow.
All is well. Alleluia!
