And Whenever You Stand Praying, Forgive

“And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against any one; so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” Mark 11:25

Christ is clear: we must forgive to be forgiven.

Who among us desires forgiveness for our failings? Who among us denies forgiveness for those who have sinned against us?

Father, align our sinful souls with your holy call to forgiveness, especially through deep difficulty and pain, as we accept your merciful forgiving love.

All glory and honor to you, O LORD!
